This would be a huge signing. I think he's a Champions league lovren-level defender. Kept out of a very good atetlco team by some very good centre backs.

a) not fit
b) fit but hasn't had as much preseason as Yoshida

Tough to drop a CB after clean sheets against Millwall and WBA.
 
Ok so let's assume, we are in on this - I hope the player makes the right decision. We could and should finish above Newcastle again this year.
