Having done some DTLW-esque detective work, I found this guy on twitter: http://twitter.com/NGARRITY11
He lives in Edinburgh in Scotland and has no affiliation with Saints, I think he's a Hibs fan. Anyway, he tweeted Skybet and Coral this morning hours before the Pochettino announcement asking what the odds were on Koeman to be the next Saints manager. Apparently his friend caddied for Koeman a couple of days ago, and presumably gathered from the conversations between holes that he'd spoken to Saints and was in line to be our next manager. Still no proof though.
HOWEVER
The first picture on Ronald Koeman's official twitter, posted a couple of hours ago, is this:

A picture of him playing golf at Gleneagles.
I don't know about anyone else but i'm very much putting 2+2 together and making four.
 
Ronald McDonald for saints manager? I'm all for a forward thinking different approach, but maybe that's too far.

Saying that, Ronald would demand red&white stripes as part of the deal, so maybe ;)
 
Just curious, but how far from Southampton is Gleneagles? Is it in Eastleigh?

No, Gleneagles is a very famous golf course in Edinburgh. It's an hour and a half flight from Southampton. Commuting to London from Southampton takes longer. It's not all steam trains like when you were a lad

Lol, I know where Gleneagles is. I'm only 38 too. I wasn't about when trains powered by coal were faster and on time more.
