Well something is going on, as all the betting firms have suspended betting.

Doesn't necessarily mean anything, manager markets often hop on and off being suspended. No idea why.

If all of them have suspended betting, a fair bit of money has been placed on someone.
Last time i looked Ranieiri was still 3/1 with one firm, but as generally between 6/4 and 2/1, and Koeman was out to 10/11, the biggest price he has been for a while.

They've probably just heard about Les saying we've settled on a preferred candidate and are completing the paperwork and pulled up the drawbridge.

As we've all said before, the odds are influenced by betting. Ranieri's odds have shortened because of rumours flying about, and Koeman's have lengthened because it's gone a bit quiet there. That's all, I'm sure.

Neil Lennon 8/1:emoticon-0107-sweat, sure he was bigger than that earlier. I would rather have Sherwood than him ffs.

What a load of crap. Have they not bothered to listen to the Reed interview (silly question)?

Koeman is number one but talks have hit an inpasse, so now Bruce is at the top of the pile according to them. While at the same time Reed is saying that our number one choice all along is very close to being announced.

I guess with this scatter gun approach one of their stories is bound to happen and they can claim credit. Probably when KL sells up in 20 years time they will dig up an old headline and say they told us first!!

Just seen this on the Daily Echo, hilarious <laugh>

Looks like the story is out. The four contenders are:-
    1 Koehman
    2 Ranieri
    3 Benitez
    4 Andy Awful.
Awful is away at the moment scouting players to play for his current club. He has uncovered a few gems but can't understand why every player he approaches bursts out laughing. He apparently tried to impress our board by explaining what a fantastic job he could do if he ever worked for a club that actually had a budget. When the board explained that many millions were available he literally wet himself. That didn't go down too well with Katharina but she was a little more understanding when she was told that he was used to working with sh1t, so wetting himself was actually a considerable improvement. Anyway they said they'd let him know but not to wait up.

At least he has a bit of a track record in management but never worked with his brother as far as I can see. Seems to be one that has thrown his toys out of the pram when things don't go well so the steadying influence of his younger brother might just be the making of him. Was certainly a good midfielder in his day.

Says he would want to bring Pelle in. Though £10m sounds a lot.

Watching the BBC coverage and dreaming a little bit but Seedorf looks like he would be a great coach. It's lazy link as they're both Dutch and I don't know whether they even have a good relationship but if Clarence wants to take a break from management and just coach then I can think of worse people.
