My gut is still telling me that this won't happen, and that Carrillo will be our only signing. Will then get fed the usual old tosh about how hard it is to get the right deals in he January window etc etc, whilst most of the clubs around us, will all find a way to strengthen even after not selling their best player. Hope I'm wrong though.
Only club's that have strengthened are Man United, Liverpool and Man City. The rest of the league havent really, or have bought players like us who we hope come good over time. No guarantees for the rest of the league.
As I said, Just a gut feeling. Plus most of the clubs around us haven't just sold their best player for £75 million

He wasn’t our best player this season, I don’t have any issues with getting so much money.
I’d suggest we only need a winger/AM and poss a CB and we are fairly strong.
People seem to be overly concerned that if we don't spend the money for Virgil immediately we will lose it down the back of the sofa.
We will probably lose it down the back of the championship.
