In truth there is a lot to be said that we Have to find a way of keeping our stars. All very well saying..."but we make a profit on them" this may be true but as a team we are unlikely to move forward as fast as we would like.
It would be nice to start doing what most other teams are doing and that is buying to improve our squad rather than to just replace.

What like signing 5-6 of them up on new long term contracts?

For all your pointing our clear weaknesses, I can't recall ever reading your solution.

Are you as gloomy in real life Spacedsaint, because virtually every post I read of yours is pointing out a negative. Now you can call me out here for whatever you like, but I just want to try and understand why it is you only ever seem to see the negative in things our club does.

We didn't get a "terrible" fee for Mane. I am happy for someone to argue that with the current climate it could have been higher, but "terrible" ... really?
Hahaha.

I was angry we sold Mane at all and am convinced we sold him cheap. Liverpool also came out and said it was a lot less than £34m. Why say that if they really gave us £34m up front? If we had sold him for £15m the year after it would have been better for our overall sales strategy. If they don't think we'll sell before the one year mark, the offers will be bumper ones when they come.

We are predictable. Our policy is predictable. If we vary it up and surprise people now and then we'll get better money in the long term.

You are choosing a figure then? What is the figure you think we sold him for?

You too are predictable.

I have posted my solution in about 7 of the posts in this polite conversation. The one you made toxic just now.

I have not made it toxic. I have asked a genuine question. Seriously, that is all I have done. I am asking why you always point out the negative.

My first reply to you - YOU chose to ignore my point and throw something else at me... just answer the point, if you want polite conversation.

You haven't answered on of my points. - What figure should Mane have gone for then?

Is your solution then not to sell the players? Just say no and as Laces said, they then go for a free.

Spacedsaint - please can you nudge me to where you posted your solution - I have read through your posts just now again and I may have missed the solution. All I seem to have found is you pointing out what we did wrong and that we should be a little less predictable. Is that the solution? I was thinking you had put something more out there and I'd missed it.

The longer contracts are the change that gives us a chance to grow. Many of the signings we have made have been on shorter deals which always leaves us at a disadvantage. I don't think we want to keep players who want to leave but it means that we can have more control over timing and fees when they do.

Anderlecht is coming to Bucharest to take it on Stanciu : "I do not negotiate , I want 10 million ! Give me 10 million ! "

Gigi Becali wants to get at least 10 million euros from the transfer of Stanciu in Europe!

Steaua's owner said it was Anderlecht's reprezentatnii come to Bucharest to negotiate transfer. Becali is not willing to leave anything in price.

"Tomorrow will come Anderlecht to negotiate. Do not give it to 6 million, I said. Do not give any 9 million. If they want to give him 10 million to come. Tomorrow will come representatives of Anderlecht to negotiate. his fault, I receive them. But with 6 million Stanciu not give it! I love about percentages, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe people take it and give the money reach 9 million.

But do not give it 9 million. Without 10 does not give it! We have not received a response from the investment fund in England, let me see. They are placed between the hammer and the anvil. To accept or 9 million to keep him on Stanciu to play 6 games and give it in winter? No lie, I tell the truth. Football has become so crazy that no longer account for amounts: 40, 140, 120 million euro, 50, 70, 60. If you hear 40, 70, 60 ... I'll go with 10. Not even the sky 20 but go 10! No 9, 10, "Becali told Sport.ro.

I wish so much that someone actually talked like Google translate!
