He could sign for longer, I think, but I'm not sure how common it is. Fabregas is the only player I can think of who has signed for more than five years.

If we had signed Shaw from another lower league it would have deal of century easily on par with the wanyama signing!

Good question about what we would pay for Luke. Obviously we would demand a fortune if we were selling, but price would be lower if we were buying. Wanyama and Ramirez were over 12 mill each, but Luke is a young English player. Not sure, but price would start at 10 mill surely.
It will be interesting if/when he signs if the club/Luke say anything about it like Schneiderlin referred to past interest.

I feel that Targett, Flannigan, Turnbull, Stephens, Gape and Seager will all get an opportunity in the early cup rounds if they continue to progress. Certainly Stephens, Seager and Targett will. And players like Chambers, Rowe, Sinclair and Isgrove should be given the opportunity also that they can cut it.
From the latest batch I've heard Sims, Little and Mason are the standout players and ones to watch!
Other clubs know Nicola wouldn't sell Shaw. Please don't ask as a smack in the mouth often offends.
First thing apparently, whatever that means. Would imagine perhaps 10am, but that really is a guess.
