Hmm that's true. If Damiao had a super crap year we'd be able to ship him off to Russia and make most of our money back. QPR getting almost a full return for Samba makes me think anything is possible.

Maybe Monaco will pay us £50m for him.
 
Pay enough money and try and show enough ambition and big names will sign.

Look at Monaco, they've just been promoted and have signed Falcao, Rodriguez and Moutinho.

Yea they used to be pretty big...
But that's like Leeds going up and signing Ronaldo, van Persie etc...
 
If they get Hulk, they will basically be Porto.

So Banega and Damiao are going the same way long drawn out end of window transfers.

We might have other targets, but from what Spurs fans have told me, this is going to be a very protracted affair, if it goes to long I'd be surprised if there was time to go after anyone of the quality we are after. Besides which, I'm out of ideas for other strikers now!
