Why is there no official statement, twitter going balistic but I haven't seen anything concrete?

Guess they're sorting the announcement and photos and whatever else it is they want to do with his announcement.
So has anyone here actually seen our newest signing in action? I know very little about him in truth but i read his rather polarized record from past clubs. Some suggestion on here he's not good enough, is that based on anything more concrete than "the epl didnt work for van wolfswinkel"?
I will support him unless he starts fighting his team mates as I support everyone that plays for us. We still need another forward though.
