I have seen reports of the deal hitting a snag again, not sure where that's come from but I've not been told it.

I think I speak for Southampton supporters as one, that everyone will be disappointed, if not ashamed and flabbergasted if this deal doesn't come of and yes, DTLW is WRONG.
To be honest, I am getting fed up with this transfer, was really excited a week ago but the way bologna are acting, i say scrap the whole thing and move on ! Leave them with a very unhappy player an no money !!
Also, I dont like the way the player himself acted in striking etc... doesnt bode well for us if we hit rocky times this season. Especially the way he was stating the large sums of money offered etc before a deal had been struck between the clubs.

I really am surprised that people would turn down Gaston Ramirez out of spite. I just don't understand it.
I thought the fee had been agreed and we were just waiting for the medical and signing on the dotted line now?
He may have acted petulantly, but the benefit of having an apparently top class player should outweigh that. Also the way Bologna have conducted themselves, considering their financial situation is completely fair enough, and while they have pissed me off to hope that we spite them for attempting to do the best for their club is equally as petulant as Gaston.
