cant wait for the transfer window to close. im so sick of this not knowing bullshit. have to say, all the signs are that this ramirez thing is dead / not happening. who gives a f*ck tho, plenty more fish in the sea.
 
Totally agree, I bet half of our fans thought "Gaston who" when first was announced. whatever will be will be, and I for one am sick of hitting F5 this week lol.....

The deal is so dead that Gaston has complained to Bologna.

They said he was happy to stay and play and they were happy with that too. Their manager says he isn't, and evidently Gaston is unhappy.

I still think we will get him.

Perhaps. But not necessarily a great sign for us if and when we buy him and he:

a) gets left out of the side; or
b) does exceptionally well and one of the big clubs comes after him

a) this is more major than being left out of the side, plenty of players have demanded transfers before
b) then we'll make a tidy profit
 
Love how there is a talk of him at heathrow over on saints web! Do they think we would be flying a high profile signing in on easyjet or BA? It would for sure be a private jet straight into soton airport!

They're talking about Gatwick actually but yeah. And they've not said that he is flying in on EasyJet or BA either so you're talking complete bollocks.
 
When the story first broke there was talk of a private jet bringing him to Soton, so if it ever happens I'm sure that will still be the case. Don't want him landing in London and being hijacked by one of them nasty London clubs. Straight into Southampton airport, black bag over head, chucked into a limo with blackened windows, quick SFC branded on his rump, job done.
