Hi B_D; no source, but this has carried on for some days now and its become very public. It might be posturing as some have speculated - but when these deals get so public and outspoken too; they don't tend to come off. The only way I see this happening is if NC plays hard-ball and its gets to the end of the transfer period and if they, as been hinted, have some financial concerns; then they might take the offer on the table.

Its not what is being said; I don't tend to believe what anybody states from the football world; its the fact that comments are being so public.

Still don't understand why this deal can't just happen! Players want to join club want the deal to happen as need funds and we want him plus agent wants it to go ahead. We have planned it as if he is joining hence them traveling here an '10' shirt vacant! The deal value has been agreed by their club and penerol!

It's only public because it's such a big transfer, plus the fact Bologna need the cash. I'm a wait and see kinda guy, nothing has shown me the deal is dead.

I have seen nothing that other than he agreed personal terms - nothing tells me its alive.

I'm trying to see the picture too. Agent saying it's off doesn't necessarily mean it is.

A cursory glance at wikipedia will tell you they are broke. Two years ago they were taken over by a fans' consortium much like Portsmouth are likely to be, because the only other option was bankruptcy.

Of course it's a minor hurdle. Neither us nor Bologna would have gone to all this trouble only for it to fall apart due to a completely foreseeable snag.
