They're all people who reported it in the first place, people weren't so keen to call it guesswork then?

Anything from Twitter should be taken with a pinch of salt I suppose, even from major outlets because its all about getting followers and attention. Look how many fake death trends we've had over the last year or so. Cos we want the deal to happen we probably focus on the positive press on the deal rather than the negative. It's not 100% off now just because a few outlets report it in the same way that it wasn't 100% on when twitter was reporting the signing was imminent last night, its hard to get balance in all this. Especially when each media source is saying something different.

Is that twitter?

When? Before the fee was agreed? It's not a problem with Ramirez, it's a problem with Bologna.

Ok let's leave the twitter stuff aside and go through the facts shall we?

- Ramirez says publicly he has agreed terms with saints
- Bologna have already identified a replacement but they need funds to get him
- Bologna representatives have been in England and have negotiated with Cortese
- Spurs have explicitly stated they are no longer interested in him, and are now rumoured to be after Miralem Pjanic instead.

He's leaving, that much is certain. He is interested in us. Nobody else wants him. But some people on twitter say it's not happening, so I guess it's not happening.

Relax everyone.

It seems very stupid for Bologna to back down now, they travelled to us for THEIR player. They want to sell.

I say lets all relax, put it do back of our mind, we are going to do our heads in. I wasnt even expecting a signing like this so as fun last few days was, we did fantastic sunday with "our" team. We will add to it, It may be we tried a bit too soon to nail a signing of this calibre. Am disappointed we didnt end up with Michu, maybe we went for him and missed out.

If the money isnt there, it isnt there so Bologna hold the cards. Lets chill and look forward to the boys playing Saturday.

He's definitely leaving, but we can't agree on a fee with Bologna. This has been stated several times. Not just on Twitter: http://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Squadre/Bologna/

I'm very relaxed, it's a pity but not the end of the world. I'm just not clinging onto false hope. It's fun to believe positive stuff and ignore negative stuff, but what's the point?

It's over for me<wah> Just as I was in love. Life moves on, who's the next target. I got my Man U tkt today so have that to look forward to. They are below us in the table so must be push overs and we have our new kits...they are easily confused by kits.

Of course, it could still be on. It's not impossible. But it's not looking good, at all.

I just don't understand where you're getting this impression from. Read my list of facts again. It's looking ****ing great.

Of course Bologna are going to say it's not happening, they want to appease their fans and put pressure on us to give them more money. But they need to sell him and no-one else is buying. There is only one outcome here.

I think you're being a bit optimistic mate, the same people who broke the news are now saying it's not happening.

Isn't there a second outcome? Find some other team who are willing to sign one of the best young attacking mids in the world? Just because Tottenham and Liverpool aren't interested, it doesn't mean nobody else is.

Actually nah, I'm sure we're literally the only team in the world who care about him and reliable sites like Gazzetta are just taking the mickey.

The article Mr. Nice linked to seems pretty sure http://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Squadre/Bologna/ and realistically trhe longer this goes on the last chance there is of it being completed. But other media outlets have reported every other stage in this saga as if its fact so fingers crossed!
