Saw another thing online about a kid with a serious illness and one day Ings turned up at his house to spend the afternoon playing FIFA with the kid.
Unless he gives them this Season then joins us on a free? That's the only way I can see him not pissing off the Burnley fans.

To me he sounds like he's a rarity and full filing his contract with burnley, tip your hat off to him,just wish others treated their contracts with the same respect.
Yep, no contract, but he has made some pretty firm commitments about the season ahead.
I think we're going to have to offer over the odds to land Ings so it's apparent Burnley couldn't refuse the deal. I have no idea what that threshold is, but it might be prudent for us to look elsewhere and join the scramble in the summer (if he impresses enough to earn the scramble)
And nothing on a clubs official site is ever made up to look good and positive.
Let's just wait and see what happens, either we offer silly money so it is too hard refuse, he puts in a transfer request(which ain't going to happen) or we move next summer, or simply move onto other targets. It's life move on and congratulate a player that seems to give a **** about his contract/club/and fans.
To be fair, this does kind of tell us no. A club doesn't post things like this then have the player leave a few days later. Not one of Shaw, Lallana or Lambert had any kind of article like this right before they left

Lallana kind of changed his mind quick after the awards evening didn't he.
Kind of makes me feel bad about him coming here, but they'll get a nice sum of money to strengthen their squad with I guess. And they have a ready made Saints fan in to replace him already!
