I won't be massively dissapointed if we don' sign Osvaldo, but i do think we should add an attacking player (striker or a winger) to our squad. So if Osvaldo isn't coming, I would welcome if we were to turn our attention already to other targets (whichever they might be)

Rickie came from League 1. There must be gems out there, but there are also players like de Ridder and Forte. We have stepped up a level and Nicola is trying to buy at that level...however, still hard for us to attract such players, especially good strikers who are at a premium.

Liverpool and Chelsea might beg to differ! Sure he isn't among the best and he has some work to do to round out his game, but to say he isn't "strong" is a bit unkind. I reckon most other teams would happily take him.

I don't think he is a strong Premiership striker. His finishing is not good enough at current.

I like his work-rate and ability to work space, but his finishing has been really quite poor on numerous occasions.

The Roma are living hectic hours. Assault Tottenham to Lamela is concrete: a pellet Franco Baldini, a temptation already several weeks ago, the need for English club to strengthen the staff regardless of the outcome of the story Bale. The Spurs are ready to bring to the table a figure close to € 40 million. Walter Sabatini would not want to deprive himself of his pupil, but the situation should be monitored because the property might make different choices. Roma have already taken Gervinho, but it is clear that there would not be with our hands if it were to sacrifice Lamela. Several signs point to Nani, always in case of departure of Erik, out of contract with Manchester United. Garcia paradoxically would like to lock down Pjanic (always in the crosshairs of Tottenham), who believes it is essential, not that Lamela is less important but the Frenchman gave this guideline, in the hope of being able to hold both. The next few hours could be decisive. Even before the team presentation, scheduled for Wednesday, developments are expected. The Roma also expects the green light by Osvaldo. The Southampton came close to 20 million and guarantees a sumptuous Pharaonic attacker. In London trip has also talked vaguely of De Rossi, for which it is known to be always the interest of Jose Mourinho, but for now there are no developments. These scenarios suggest that, from now until Sept. 2, in Rome there may be many new home.
