I take it as every thing is agreed - but it is waiting on PSV signing a replacement as their window closes this evening.

Sounds to me like there are two ways this still falls over:
- Leeds bid
- PSV decide not to sell as they fail to sign a replacement

those two scenarios combined present quite a significant risk in my mind.

Even if Leeds bid the player would have to choose them over us. As he's already agreed terms with us they'd have to offer him huge wages.

If true then the interest from Leeds is irrelevant then? Because that is apparently part of the hold up - that they bid for him is James goes to spurs

Yep. Blackmore says he has bought into the Saints project. He's on Solent right now.
