That is reporting suggestions, there are no quotes for the wages or fee. Some are reporting there will be a clause, other saying there won't be. Until something is announced or quotes are provided, I will remain with what I have said
SSN said this morning that Sahin preferred Arsenal but Arsenal pulled out due to a disagreement on wages or option to buy clause. Probably/hopefully bullshit.
Ben Smith first reported that there will be a buy clause at the end of the loan. He has since retracted that statement so there is no buy back clause. It's just a straight loan deal. And we'll be paying roughly 70-80% of his £120k wages.
1. rodgers rep is on the line. 2. sahin has quality so after watching HEARTS make out "reserve 3" look totally crap i think any quality coming in is good. 3. if we bring in a guy on loan theres no gaurentee we'll buy him in the end. 4. cole went to lyon, i'm sure they paid the majority of 90k per week.. why are we worried. 5. arsenal are one of the very highest payers in the league, i find it unbeleivable that he did not go there over wages... i don't buy it AT ALL. 6. it better get done today or rodgers will have more egg on face... after carroll, dempsey stuff and so forth he already has some yolk to contend with... any more and he'll come off like humpty dumpty.
Arsenal looks better from the outside, a year with us will see him straight though and he'll be gagging for us to sign him after the season , -he will learn a lot playing in a mix of Suarez, Gerrard and Lucas
Brendan Rodgers only says a deal is close..when a deal is close. Every time he has come out and said something like that, we've signed someone.
I believe there was quotes from Rodgers on the NESV website prior to it getting taken down again. He absolutely expected us to sign Sigurdson too. Maybe not timeframes though
I don't know a great deal about either but I would say it is impossible to say since it depends how they settle. One has never played in England
Yes, easy - every single time. At the end of 2011 (before his injury and move to Spain) everyone would have said Sahin is world class and one of the best footballers in Germany. He's top drawer.
I get the impression that he is more of a deep-lying playmaker, and all signs indicate that he is a fantastic player (player of the year award when he won the league with borussia the year before last) and looks v smart.
I think no one will be 'benched' to accommodate any one and no one will miss out. We will rotate. Gerrard, Lucas, Allen, Sahin, Henderson and Shelvey will all get games. We wouldn't be able to complain much about that midfield. Maybe lacks goals but we'll see whether that is true or not in the long run. I will remind every one that Rogers referred to Gerrard, Downing, Suarez and Borini as his 'exciting front four'.
This He will compliment Allen and Lucas. Between 3, Lucas will win the ball, Allen will keep it, Sahin will make the incisive pass to start attacks. Sahin is similar to Allen and Lucas in that he's good at closing down and winning possession. But his main strengths are his vision and passing. Classy player.
