I hope Sagbo and Aluko get 30 goals between them next season - I'll be the first to sing their praises and I most certainly do not want either of them to 'play like s**t" but meanwhile, tell me how many goals he's scored again, I keep forgetting. By the way, if a player is classed as a 'striker' he's there to score goals. If he's played on the wing then he's a winger and he's there to supply goals. A 'hold-up' player is an excuse for not scoring. If he 'holds up' play then the defense have time to get back don't they. I hope Sagbo proves me wrong but I have seen nothing from him to suggest that he not even 'average' at this level but that's just my opinion.

A hold up player is there to allow us to move up the pitch in a quick manner unlike the name suggests. Unlike building from the back, he will receive the ball in an advanced position and "hold it up" until other players can push up to support. So what if he don't score loads of goals (which he might just given the game time), there is more to football and being a "STRIKER" as you suggest then just putting it in the onion bag.
