If you listen to the latest Total Saints Podcastbthere is a section about safe standing, with a couple of the people involved in the campaign speaking. Apparently there is a demonstration of the preferred system being planned in Southampton soon..

There's absolutely no reason why this shouldn't be brought in tbh. Shame that we don't seem very interested as a club though.

Just not a priority....unless it means extra league points....the club will probably go along with any decision when made. I don't see why any club would care unless it means packing more people in....unlikely to happen at Saints as we don't need extra room....and safe standing may not throw up extra places anyway.

Most cases of safe standing do increase the capacity, the issue is more size of exits etc.
