    I take it that you watched your first Town game in 1973 then Irish? Who was your favourite player from that era? Thanks Wark-s, well certainly Mick Mills and Allen Hunter.then the glorious seventies kept rolling out some class performers (the wonderfully talented Kevin Beattie and of course the skillful dutch delight of Murhen and thijssen, but i suppose strikers are the glory boys and listening to those broadcasts on the B.B.C on Saturday afternoons during the seventies always got excited when the names Whymark, Gates, or. of course, later Mariner were mentioned in commentary.Wonderful memories of the best team never to win a league title in the decade between 1973-82.
