I went to school with several Everton fans who now support United. (Or did last I saw them) Growing up the question was "red or blue"... do you support Liverpool or Everton? That's all anyone supported in my village. By high school half the blues became United supporters because Everton was having difficult times and United were doing well. I remember even as a kid thinking that was kinda slimebaggy.
anyone that goes and supprts a team and city that hates your kind are nuts. its like seeing irish people wandering about supporting chelsea... the hard core would as soon gut them as sing whatever it is the plastics try to sing
True although (not defending them) this was in Cheshire. I think Utd fans are perhaps more tolerant of Cheshire fans converting than they would if our village was on the other side of the mersey. I'd like to think no one actually growing up in Liverpool would ever support a team from Manchester.
Which team you support runs in the family. Although saying that, my Dad [love him, miss him] was an Evertonian, my brother, who's eight years older than me, supported Liverpool probably peer pressure as most of his class did - this was when Liverpool were in the 2nd division mind. I followed him in who I supported and my lads support Liverpool. My Dad was from Cheshire!
My dad supports Villa. He even named me after a villa player (later manager) who had the same last name as us. / snuck that past my mum.
Lol... there are several players that have later managed villa. I shall neither confirm nor deny any of them for obvious reasons.
But Man Utd have signed Mata to play instead of Rooney so he can focus on his new co-manager role (Of course he'll still come on for his appearance bonus is a game is already won) #worried
I wouldnt worry, just start planning your trips to various corners of Europe next season. #4thplacecertainties
