If we were judging players off pre-seasons O’nien would be playing for the u23s. You can’t keep dropping the 9 because of a bad performance and giving him the odd 20 minutes here or there we need to put one in and stick with it.
I'm guessing he hasn't had much service today so it will be harder to impress tbf. The midfield in the earlier game would have created more chances and fed better passes.

Has to be said. This has been a poor display. No patterns of play and nothing much happening.
Fair chunk of the starting line up are coming back from injury, rustiness to be expected, minutes in the bank that’s the main thing, the starting midfield two probably won’t be here in a months time
Feck all unfortunately. Its not a good sign if he can't start pre season with intent against a team like Gateshead ffs

Absolutely. Spilling the team over 2 games is also a funny one for me too.
Just a shame with the starting 11, we couldn't dominant. We should have been able too. Some serious players in our 11 and half of the championship starting 11.
He was a really bad signing lets be honest and so was Hemir.
Both cost nearly 4m between them ffs
Not great viewing but it's pre season, that 11 will never start together.
Can't imagine Matete and Embleton are at the club much longer, just not good enough unfortunately.
Rusyn looked ok at times but can't see him being the main forward this season.
This summer is a real chance for some of the lads brought in over the last 12 months to prove themselves, some have taken that chance today and some haven't.
