Catts and JoS are imo shocking footballers but we cant do without them and because of this we will always struggle. Add to this abject failures like AJ SF JA DG JR JL and FB interspersed with freebees, bargain buys, has beens and never will bees, and you have our current problems.no wonder people leave early, the miracle is that they go in the first place, each and every one of them was my man of the match, they all deserve medals.
Borini??? all he did was constantly give the ball away, one of which lead to their goal. M'Villa I agree with, he had a great game, as did Catts considering he's been out for so long but the constant giving away the ball in the centre of the park is a big problem and on another night a better team would have slaughtered us. We were luck the bin dippers weren't at their best mate.
yup. i thought borini's ball control was woeful, head down try and take on 3 players garbage. he needs to get his head up and think about what he's doing. I've just watched it back mate. Brown was perfectly placed (again) when the ball was fed through to Benteke, he would have intercepted it but it hit the foot of another Liverpool player, which diverted the ball and into the path of Benteke. It was actually a really fortunate goal by them, not undeserved but definitely lucky.
The goal was lucky and Brown did have a goid game helped by the fact Catts and Mvilla were excellent. AJ was terrible, constantly gave the ball away and cant tackle, Jones is ok at defending but canbot cross or pass. Borini is a striker being played as a midfielder and is not good at defending. Watmore is a great prospect but needs more end product. Rodwell is a sick note. Kone will help strengthen the defence but we probably need another in too. Townsend would be a welcome addition going forward, IMO Austin would be a great signing, he and Defoe supplied by Townsend and Watmore would score goals.
