    We went through a spell of signing South Americans who never seemed to do very well. Marcos Angeleri and the like. And there was one we were meant to sign but he got shot in the head in Colombia or somewhere... anyone remember his name?

    Midfield general and top goalscorer, when we were trying to sign him he played against Argentina in a televised game I will never forget, he was unplayable.
