True. Although technically, post Moyes, maybe he is next level!! Time will tell but I'm starting to look forward to the season now
Ah so you just dropped in to be pedantic. How dull of you. How dare I forget raw sausage boy Rooch. It's about the only thing I remember of you. Such a lasting impression. I'll move on then.
Saw a couple posts on this thread (literally, didn't read anywhere near all of em) and I assumed you'd be very happy with this appointment but seems some are quite underwhelmed. Even saw some posts saying it'll be unspectacular and boring football. That just aint the case with Grayson, he's a very attack-minded manager (or was at leeds and believe he's continued the same way) and the problem he always had was never being able to sort out a defence. Most exciting manager we've had for probably 15 years. He's always worked with **** all funds and overachieved which could be a worry that you're board don't wanna spend but with a bit of cash I think he'll get you promoted. 4 clubs so far and 4 promotions with no relegations, made a good appointment imo.
To be fair the reason people are expecting slightly negative football is because PNE fans have told us so. In fact you're the first to say the opposite I've seen. Also most people are supportive.
Nice to hear a view from leeds. I had a look around Twitter and he seems to divide opinion with your fans. Some love him, some think he's the most tactically naive manager Leeds have had in ages! Shows how fickle us fans can be I suppose.
He kinda got us as far as he could I think. We weren't willing to invest at all and every single transfer window we sold our best player without fail. He had a bad run of games and got the sack as a result. I don't know if we'd be in a better position with him still here but I don't think any manager could've done better in the situation he was in with us
