As a kid. I once got a bag of maltesers of Bob Stokoe an went inside his house and met his wife. No not in a jimmy saville way. I used to deliver his papers. And it was pissind down.
Just after we won the cup I was in the hospital down Roker and Bob Stokoe was visiting his mate on the ward I was on. He came over and talked to me and my old man for 5 minutes. We were both a bit star struck.
One for the golfers. If you want to spend time surrounded by them and other celebs, (Botham, Lamb, etc) get yourself up to the Dunhill Pro-Am in a few weeks and drink in the Jigger Inn by the 17th tee. Tiny pub, wall to wall sporting and tv celebs.
I met Bob Hoskins in Marbella one time & I met the Fonz in a London pub. They were both well pissed, especially Bob.
Thanks. It's just a result of how busy I am all the time. Even if I've got a spare moment I usually fill it with something. I just get bored too easy so I've always got to have something on the go. The only reason I'm posting a bit at the moment is that I'm taking a few months part time to prevent burnout. I hadn't taken a holiday for three years I had realised. Still, I'm supposed to be off today, but I find myself designing a new product. I'm an advisor with two marketing companies and run my own consumer brand. Still, I'm only 32, I'll wind down in a few years but I don't think I'll ever retire. Just trying to force myself into a little down time right now but it doesn't feel natural. Think I might last till the end of this month............we'll see.
Aye. I do this. I do that. Yeah. Im a manager of a building company in asia. Some already knew. Just a thicko getting on. I love a pint or ten after work. Whats wrang with that.
Ok. I went 8 days. Gallons of water. Gave my liver a rest. Even yesterday i left the car and walked to work. Only about 8km. But in the boiling sun. A bit to much sun i think. Then had a right mixture of booze after. Beer. Cider. Vodka and wine. Then got a motorbike taxi home. Ok today.
