The guy was a genius, saw him in 72 first time and in 2004 with lots in between, I was a massive Mick Ronson fan also and do think, he was the reason the Ziggy stuff propelled as well as it did..
I'm not brilliant with names/memory etc but didnt Mick Ronson end up with Ian Hunter in Mott the Hoople? Or is my memory wrong?

Yes he did, the bass guitarist that died yesterday was his best mate, who originally joined the Ziggy Band. Mick Ronson is probably better known than Hull City where he was born. I admire anyone playing the Les Paul Custom but he could make it talk..<ok>

Don`t know about making it talk though I`ve probably come close to reducing the poor thing to tears a few times. <laugh>
