I would be very happy if this comes off. Defoe is a matural goal scorer 70k a week is not alot for one of those. Altidore is probs on 40k so its only 30k extra. Get defoe in then get ings aswel and off load graham i know im dreaming but thats all we can do supporting sunderland

Every team needs a goal scorer mate, you lot have won less games than any other team in the league, yours are obviously letting you down. There's only one solution and with the money being chucked around in this league, you can't afford to take another chance on a striker who's not proven.

There you have it, the guy can be the biggest **** in the league but it's points that count, not ****s.

    Is that a thing now?

He had his hand in his mouth at the time. He was saying 'Ciao'

Because he really really should've left when you wanted him :(

Oh we no, for 14m you should have pushed him out of the door. We knew at the time it was ridiculous money and a decision that Liverpool would come to massively regret. You will be lucky to get half of that now.

Would take Defoe over him any day of the week.

Defoe is proven and not just for taking penalties ......... very happy if this comes off.

Borini will eventually leave for around 5/6 million.

Liverpool only wanted their own back for all that money wasted on Mignolet.

No issues mate, but I think you're stuck with Borini. He'll end up going back to Italy in a massively cut price deal, probably along with the other useless Italian you have.

Absolutely... But if you can convince someone to take Altidore I guess there's always hope!

What on earth was Rodgers thinking there ........ Defoe would've been a much better bet than him.

Absolutely. I said on the original Defoe thread that he would be an exceptional signing and he would keep us in the Premier League. Surprised by some of our good posters saying they would rather have Altidore and insinuating that there's not much difference between the two <doh>

**** knows mate, he's got trouble written all over him, plus 2 very, very good managers tried and failed with him, why did Rogers think he could get him to play?

Altidore has taken the heat off Graham who has contributed even less and cost more.
