The simple fact is that the current Man U team isn't very good. Last season, Fergie did excellently to win the league and get to the CL final with the worst team he's had for quite some time. Credit where it's due from someone who doesn't support Man U. Last season Man U lost the last CL final to a much better team on the day, the best in the world without a doubt.

Personally I don't think that failed CL teams should go into Europa. They don't want to be there and I don't suppose the teams who've earnt a place appreciate it either. In a knockout competition, once you're out that should be it. Rather devalues Europa if half the teams haven't earned the right to be there.

I think we have a very good team with the exception of our central midfield, and a weak central midfield unbalances the rest of the team. They offer little defensive cover and protection to the defence and they offer little creativity and support for our forwards so our other players have to work harder.

I agree with the 2nd part of your post about the Europa League.

Your arrogance about Europa league is your undoing; as it was when getting stupped in Switzerland.

You would think you have learned, but no.

Sorry but, to a club of Man Utd's side and a club who have reached 3 Champions League Final's in 4 seasons the Europa League means nothing.

Says a lot that your best CM is a 38 year old who used to be a winger until his legs went. Money can be spent, but a good midfield needs time to adjust.

Incidentally, that young Shaqiri lad for Basle has a very bright future.

Disagree, apart from Rooney, Nani,Cleverly,Jones and Vidic your teams **** in my opinion, Cleverly offered you different dimensions at the start of the season and every time his played everyones looked better from what i've seen ( rooney, nani, young, anderon ), now his out your looking like we were and still are sometimes - slow, sloppy and predictable. Youngs way too inconsistent, Don't have a clue whats up with rooney, Vidic can't stop getting injured at the moment and i just think your in real trouble. I think like us you need a world-class midfielder, maybe Sneidjer to partner Cleverly then you'd turn things around, but atm can you honestly say your getting anything out of having Carrick,Fletcher,Anderson,Young,Jones,Fabio/Rafael,De Gea,Berbatov and Macheda in your team? Wellbecks far too inconsistent for my liking aswell and i'd say Lindergaard is better than mr donut stealer.

It is sort of true. Billy McNeill managed Aberdeen for a season - a league win ratio of 61.11% over 36 games. Billy's record

Alex had 57.43% over 303 games Alex's Record

Liverpool Won it 5 times yet they still have the professionalism and respect to get on with it, I mean, who the hell is Evra to say it is embarrassing, OK he is used to playing in the CL, 6 years straight, but c'mon, wheres the humility, what a cock. You are a footballer, even Europa means more money for a club servicing huge debts, great experience for younger players, Smalling would benefit from it, evans Jones De Gea ect ect. In so many ways Evra was completely wrong by saying what he said. fine to feel that way about it, but please.. United would want to win it cos it is such an easy cup to win aparently

He basically said, and it makes me laugh. he said..

We are not good enough for the champions league but too good for the Europa league, so what? united are in Cup limbo? What, paddy Evra is a fktard

Avram Grant had a higher win percentage at Chelsea than Ancelotti, and than Bill Shankly did at Liverpool. Someone who manages for a single season, when they have a good side in place, is always likely to fare better than someone who has to manage for more than one season, with the resulting shifts in form and performance and need to rebuild the team.

Aye, as I've said before Evra is sometimes a wee bit too gobby for his own good, particularly over the last couple of seasons. If he'd spent more time playing and less time talking to the media we'd probably still be in the competition - the Evra of old would definitely have chipped in with an assist or two which would have been all we needed. I think he may be reaching the Cole / Yorke / RVN stage - ego too big and thinks he's untouchable in the team. Maybe time to replace him in the summer if we can get a decent replacement.

Sums up "United Fans" perfectly, 2 or 3 seasons without a trophy and they will be off! Your arrogance and total disregard for other teams and fans who would love to be in it, let alone win it is sickening! and all that from an armchair, you are a F*****g disgrace! Sorry to genuine Utd fans for you being associated with T**ts like this!

I never said I'm going to stop supporting Man Utd, I said I don't give a **** about the Europa League.

There's a difference you thick ****ing idiot.

If Man Utd had been knocked out of the Champions League and weren't allowed to play in the Europa League but were saying they should be allowed into the Europa League you would be calling them arrogant for thinking they should still be in Europe.

    Moron.

The Europa league is for teams who finished just outside the Champions League qualifying places in their respect leagues and teams from Country's with a low co-efficient. It should not be for teams who messed up the Champions League.

But you are clearly too stupid to understand that.

Mourinho had a bottomless pit when he was at Chelsea and still failed to even reach a Champions League Final.

Mourinho had the upper hand in his first 2 seasons at Chelsea when the money was pouring in but Sir Alex soon turned it around with less resources.

Harder than you think, Mancini has won one FA cup at City so far, Mourinho won the league first time.

He also won the treble with Porto in case you forgot to realise.
