Green belt land was sold to Steve Lansdown for development, more land was also sold by the council to the project without anybody else being able to bid for it, planning permssion given for a ground and huge supermarket, rate payers money spent on a world cup bid and legal fees on fighting court cases v constituents of BS3. Hardly impartial.
I really hope that if they **** this up for us, we just say **** it, we will build this 20,000 original stadium plan we had then, and stick that smack bang in the middle of their housing estate. It has afterall, been granted planning permission
