As the new season draws closer it is alarming to see the amount of sad sapps willing to forget last years disaster on and off the pitch.
Sapps and sappes's are turning up everywhere.Roland and co have changed they've learned from their mistakes give them a chance.
Look at the players we are buying the managerial appointment.
Makes me sick reading tweets and posts from these Lilly livered pathetic excuses for cafc fans.
Saw a tweet today saying it could be worse Douchatalet could be
be Oyston .
I can see a decent start and protests will be all but done and any that do protest will be few in numbers .
The pathetic support the team mantra will be once again vocalised from the mouths of these wasters.

Still waiting for card to say wether their bold statement post Burnley that the first home game will not be completed is still their plan .
All very quiet on that front at the moment .

I did a poll last week (@HenryIrving10 <cheers>) asking Charlton fans how they felt about the new season under Slade. The excitement was palpable on that day, as we had just signed Lee Novak on a free transfer after his unsuccessful spell at Chesterfield.

Of over 180 replies, 40% said they would be boycotting next season and 30% said they would only be attending the Northampton game to protest. The other 30% were busy drying out their new poster of Nicky Ajose.

Interesting that the Lie Machine hasn't declared how many season tickets Charlton have sold. <whistle> Even Olly Groome is having trouble finding a way to polish that turd. The figure has dropped from 10,000 to 3,500 <laugh><laugh>

The attendance for our Tuesday night home game v Shrewsbury in August will be comical.

Saw that poll interesting to see if views have changed as the season gets nearer and with all this enthusiasm we have signed a couple of players and a kid ,yet to see the multiple departures once they kick in then
 
It's inevitable if the football side improves the protests will lose force. It was because of the shambolic recruitment of management and players that the protests gathered force in the first place. Personally I will wait until Roland goes but you can't expect everyone to feel the same, old habits die hard.
Incidentally, I was at a local labour party meeting last night where a motion urging Corbyn to stand down was tied at 27/27, therefore failed to carry in spite of me speaking in support of it. The proposer of the motion is also a Charlton fan and a protester, and I said to him afterwards "Ah well it's back to trying to get Roland out now". He's not renewing either.

I think the signings of Holmes, Novak & Ajose along with the appointment of Slade (who seems to be saying a lot of the right things, as well as players who have previously played under him saying good things about him) are a step in the right direction.

However, for me, it's all too little too late - we didn't need to be in League 1 for this to happen. Meire and the Rat still have to go. I will not be attending any future matches at the Valley and i'll support the team at away matches only, whilst chanting for the Belgian twats to leave.
 
The signings are decent - but it's the offset that worries me. All of this good business has the potential to be undone when KM negotiates player sales.

I'm sure they agreed in house to do the majority of our business first, sell players and then sign a couple of squad fillers, noting we were only able to do so because we sold JBG and Lookman and the signings are needed because we need a bigger squad than last year.

Everyone seems to of cottened on now that your mob are embarrassing .
Loved the collection of freaks weirdos and full kit w@@@@@s who were at Wembley from selhurst very funny .
Not as funny as the result tho.

No suprise some of the fans are looking happier now - it's what fans do. But is it just me or has our 'new revolution' now that KM and RD have seen the light, not really gone very far. We have a middling British manager who has never achieved promotion, and three new players who look good at this level. Last season, the summer also started pretty well, but by mid july we had shut up shop, and went into the new season over Budget and under staffed. Plenty of time for more signings, but since RD and KM are still in charge, I don't see too much need for happiness just yet.
