Doesn't bother me in the slightest if people wear extra layers or warm clothes. If I'm moving around I don't get cold... I get opposite reaction. I'll go out in winter in shorts and t shirt and people give me crap about not wearing warm clothes. If I'm moving around I don't get cold. If I'm stationary it's a different story... I can't sleep in a cold room.
I remember one hike I made in the mountains one winter. Probably a little below freezing at the start. Had a big ice storm few days before (probably shouldn't have gone but kids were young and rarely got time to myself so took advantage). Started with jacket, hat, gloves t-shirt and sweater. Less than quarter mile in the jacket came off. A mile in it was just tshirt and my trousers and was kicking myself for not wearing shorts. Was freezing before starting off but hiking warms me quickly. Kept my hat on, even wear it summer so I don't pick up ticks from the trees. Get nasty diseases from ticks here. This was the trip wild turkeys decided to take off right next to me as I walking next to a big drop... They sound like helicopters they fly so noisy, startled me, glad the surprise didn't make me fall.
