If fan base can determine a club's future, you'd be up there. As we know, football isn't like that. They got lucky last week and their winner today was after the ball hit the referee, so I've read. I think our (Norwich's) crunch game could be Stoke away.
We have got an awful run in, Chelsea away, Newcastle away, Everton at home (who we NEVER beat no matter what), Aston Villa away After that if we continue as we've been we'll be in the relegation zone. Then we've got two home games against Southampton and against Stoke we need to win both of those I reckon you're safe, we're in free fall and Stoke are in free fall. If our new manager can stop the rot then Stoke may well join the current bottom 2 in the championship
I posted on our board, we have Swansea, Reading, West Bromwich Albion and Aston Villa at home. If we don't get six points then we deserve to go down. No replies yet, I think they're all out lol. Stoke are like Wigan, they seem to do just enough. There's a Sunderland fan where I work and he's not hopeful but the two Villa fans seem mixed.
The consolation is that there are a lot of teams in it,nine to be exact up to Stoke.Your fixtures look possibly the worst but your pals across the river are not looking too rosy and a worse GD than you.The derby should be tasty.Unsure about the wisdom of sacking MON though at this stage.
Am in the North stand and it looked a bad decision but then again he gave them every 50/50 decision. Booked our players, warned theres. No consistency at all.
This and I also have a feeling its also about people not renewing there season tickets this season has been the most boring football I have seen from a Sunderland side in a long time
