A bit harsh tbh disregarding the scorelines but they did play Arsenal,City and scousers in succession and beating Villa plus a winnable game tomorrow night, imho.
Think @Joelinton's Right Foot might be right. Its not the results but the fact he slagged of their transfer policy.
Well it's Parker. Somewhat harsh after just 4 games, so I guess they must have a replacement in mind.
On the footballing merits alone it's a ridiculous decision. They've played possibly the best three teams in the league in their last three games and, big surprise lost them all, 2 of them were even away from home. They've had one winnable game and they won it. Was going to be a tough season for them but there's a few rubbish teams around so they've got some hope. The above are correct, it must have been about a disagreement over how the club was using it's money, when he came up with Fulham they spent big and got relegated, I assume he's asking for more money and they are effectively saying "do the best with what you have". It's sensible of Burnemouth, if they go down they come back stronger, but I get why Parker doesn't just want to be constantly associated with relegation.
That wouldn't surprise me as some dinosaurs are surviving no matter what, Mowbray at Sunderland comes to mind along with cabbage heed.
Yeah, perhaps Stoke was just an overnight stop-off to break up the journey from Sunderland to Bournemouth.
Sadly for Scotty he said to much after the Liverpool defeat. The fixture list has been unkind but he basically threw the players and the board under the bus after getting thumped by Liverpool. They are clear favorites for relegation and have not spent much and what they have bought is Championship fodder. Should have just said Liverpool are a far superior team and we'll get our heads down and work hard to see what we can do but he's said the players aren't good enough and the board aren't helping us,, almost like he was hoping to get a pay off from them as he knew they were destined for the drop this year and wanted out early.
I'm a bit worried that our manager might decide to leave and go to a 'bigger' club below us and in the relegation zone. Oh hang on, no, I'm not a mackem
I think you're allowed to do whatever you want with them as long as you're not being a **** about it.
It must be for his comments after the game. 3 points from those fixtures is ok. They will be getting relegated whoever comes in.
