I completely agree. There is no good to come of Pards being sacked in that situation. none at all. Yes there might be better managers out there, but it's a bigger gamble that they could be no better but by then we'd really in up **** creek.
How can anybody say pardew going is not good news is beyond me

He's working in Qatar at the moment so not like he won't be interested. Even if he was only here for 12 months it'd be long enough to implement a style of play and lay the foundations for the club to buy in to a certain ethos like Martinez did with Swansea etc.

He'd last one window. As soon as he realised Ashley lied to him about transfers he'd walk. He is a huffy so and so. Ashley could break a normal manager nevermind one with that character trait. To be honest I think he would flat refuse the job, Qatar or not. I think our only hope is a young up and comer. Someone like Howe. Ashley will just appoint another has been desperado.

No point kidding ourselves. I'd love a progressive move like Laudrup or Paul Clements. Just highly unlikely.

Curbishley? Holloway? Phil Brown??

Forget sacking the guy - how can Alan Pardew knowingly, willingly walk into a worse-than-Cardiff situation next week? I think it could be a game of brinkmanship with the owner right now.

Newcastle have taken just five points from the last 36 on offer.

Any self respect hed **** off,...

Any sign of caring ashley would sack him...

Fact is ashley only cares about the season january onwards and itll take until then if we are as ****e for him to act as he will be afraid of relegation.

Using the two words Ashley and care is like saying vegetarian alligator

A forlorn hope that Ashley will sack Pardew, and still some fans cling to the faint hope it may actually happen.

What I don't get is for Ashley to sack him, we would surely need to be on a run of losing games.
So does that mean NUFC fans actually want us to lose a few games and maybe, a very little maybe , try and force Ashleys hand.
Of course by then, we would be firmly implanted in the relegation zone, depending on Ashley appointing a manager of quality, or as Mr T has said, B Rate Manager or worse.

Not a gamble I would particularly sign up for, but, if you're that way inclined, good for you, you obviously have more TRUST IN MIKE ASHLEY than I have.
No doubt the New B Rate Manager will get us out of trouble, a bit like Messrs Dix, McFaul, Kinnear managed in the relegation years.

Read the full conversation. Yes, I do think Pard's time is up, but I didn't WISH for it ahead of the game on the basis of WANTING us to continue losing and be firmly in the relegation zone and floundering to make it happen. It was the 'in that situation' I added. Pards should have gone long ago, but i don't want us to keep losing until he does eventually go. Especially as there's no guarantee a new manager will actually do better while Cashley is in charge.
