I have backed Hughes all season ............... but I did say that only one result would do and that was a win, so ............... sack. Let's keep this simple .................... we had to beat Reading. In the end, we had to come from behind to draw .......... FOR US TO SURVIVE, THAT IS JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH!
I voted back for the simple reason i dont know who is out there and willing to come take over. TBH we have been unlucky and this nagging voice keeps telling me that MH wil come good...I cant see haow we can be so bad with these players...really cant..Maybe it is MH but f-me the players have to take some responsibilty. To his credit, tarbs seems to have stepped up to the plate and is delivering what we need, others need to do the same.....Need a leader on the park...any chance of recalling that scum piece of sh*te that is Barton? I guess we'd do just as bad with no manager though !
Just how I saw it rangercol, but I was doing other things while watching so maybe I was lucky and looked up at the right time. You will have a much better idea than me how we played. Other teams will always get opportunities in the Prem. I've always backed Hughes and still do, just. But I can now honestly have no argument against those who want him sacked after 10 games without a win. And I don't buy this easier run bit either because we've played virtually all the top 10 sides. We haven't, we've got 4 points from playing Swansea, West Ham, Norwich, reading and West Brom!! All teams i believe will be in the lower half of the league come the end of the season. I had us in the top half all season this year and we are now very much fighting relegation.....
So... thirteen days have passed since this thread was established. I'm wondering where the twenty-eight backers now stand?
Against Reading Stoke and Southampton we needed at least 6 points and we have only 1 ....... The performance today was inept and not good enough....... Sorry he has to go - not a fan of HR - but lets get him in to keep us up .....
