    Im here at last swords
12 hour time difference and a bank holiday at the rsa meant i missed your thread
being nervous is one thing .(i still would not swap 16th for 18th)
but giving up when their was 10 games to go as so many did was plainly silly
i told you if we go down i will wear the scratchyest sack cloth i can find
not so sure about the ashes though

might have to get you tarred and feathered

There is no need for "i told you so" on this forum. People are different. Some of us are glass half full and some are not. The word "fickle" has been used many times in recent weeks by many of us (myself included). it should never have been used. We are all QPR fans. We all want the best for our beloved club. Nobody on here wants to see us relegated. Thats a FACT. What has caused Aa little stir here in recent days and weeks is the over-reaction of some to any loss we suffer. We were not down 10 games ago and we are still not down yet. Leave all the negativity and doom and gloom until the season is over. Until then, we are all one. We are all QPR.

Some may read that as attempting to censor the opinions of those who see what you call doom and gloom and negativity as being a true and realistic assessment of where we stand at a given time. The club itself through a statement issued by Mr Beard a couple of weeks ago said that if relegation occurred it would not deflect it from carrying through with the plans for our future; is that negative?

Those of us who prefer to say what we feel with no regard for being branded traitors or fickle fans will continue to do so until the outcome is decided. Others can claim the mantles of their choice, but come what may we'll all be there again come August in whatever league we're in.

Well said <applause>. No offense last night Brother, thought you was havin' a go!

Kiwi, you're on. Sack Cloth for you, tar and feathers for me. Blimey, we'll have Opus Dei members on here next thinking they've stumbled on fellow devotees.

    NUTS, good post.

    Oddball, go back to Cyprus.

I'm never going to be sucked in by them again.

Fair cop Swords. I was genuinely optimistic that we would get something today, clearly need to reduce my medication and rejoin planet Earth. Not so much the defeat, but the performance that leaves the empty feeling. Letting in 6 against Fulham bad enough, but against the Scum.........fair play to them, they were way out of our league.
Bizarrely though, we are not dead yet. If Spurs win today looks like its a straight fight us v Bolton.
It ain't over til it's over, I'll save the ritual donning of the sackcloth until then mate.
