Spot on as someone mentioned the other day if his name was Shaun Phillips he would have been on the scrap heap years ago
We have better players that him surely. Can't do s**t in the attack and to be honest he's not that good in defense. Yes he works hard but bloody hell QPR is Prem League club, you can't play for the first team just because you don't mind tracking the fullbacks. If QPR need just someone to run I can do that no prob.
The SWP witch hunt is getting a bit silly now. Yea he's not what he once was - but saying that if he wasn't Ian Wrights son he'd be on the scrap heap is laughable. He was a terrific little player at Chelsea for a fair while and similarly at the start of his City career.
I'm sorry to disappoint you but now I'm more a QPR fan than Real Madrid. I'm looking forward to every QPR match and I have more pleasure watching QPR than Real Madrid. Really don't know the reason. On the subject @Silent Bob SWP hasn't score in his 44 Prem league games. That means his last goal he scored in season 2009/2010. I'm sorry but I think he's a has been.
Yea granted, he's not as good as he once was but he's not the sole reason for our problems which is what some, rather blinkered, posters on here would have you believe.
Exactly, SWP and the wrong formations are just the 2 biggest examples of Hughes failings. OF course you can add signing Green, no quality CBs, signing AJ, selling HH, not buying any good forwards and buying so many good midfielders that we cant fit them all in because hed rather play 1 or 2 defensive wingers!
