Very busy today, so apart from a few quick looks I haven't been able to look here or anywhere else. But bloody great news that in these times, someone with serious cash wants to invest in a football club , up here, in League One, and not at the top of it either. It is actually mind boggling when you think about it. Let's hope it all progresses smoothly and we can get on with the business of being a proper football club again and start trying to be what we can be, instead of floundering around like a lost bloke at the bottom of someone else's allotment. . We have been held back badly this last two and a half years with utterly hopeless people in charge. Well done to all those who have told us whatever they could whenever they could tell it. Look here all you lot, it has been, and still is really appreciated!!

I’d love to hear what the plans are for our great club under this consortium but the one thing I’ve been wanting since Short sold up was the financial backing to allow the club to try and fix things without ****ting themselves that if things don’t work out we’re up **** creek. Now there seems to be that financial backing let’s hope they bring a plan to make us proud of our club again. Chin! Chin!

Your posts have got me through dark times, offering hope and a bit crack away from The Chuckle Brothers taking over our precious club. You’ve 100% kicked the arse of every bellend who thought slagging you off for internet likes was a good idea. My biggest flaw is that I love all you lads and want the best for you and our club. That may mean I'm overly optimistic but I can't change who I am. Keeping the faith, for me, isn't just a catchphrase, it's a way of life. People who come and go, in their support, are of little interest to me. Sorry if that sounds arrogant, that's just how I feel.
I'm trying to remain calm and not get too excited yet. FPP deal fell through after it came out in the papers so whilst Stewart Donald is involved, it's always got the potential to fall through. Here's hoping it doesn't and the lads go onto bigger and better things!

Apart from it being common sense, the lads who have been right about the takeover have also said that Donald is no longer a problem so I'm sure you're right.
Donald now has other interests outside of football, driven by his 'lady friend'. If you're looking in Stewart, sue me if I'm lying.
