Not shocked November 10th came and went without anything happening. Hopefully we get a real update after tomorrow's RAWA meeting
Only issue is that the club want to go back to the agreeing of minutes. Previously RAWA have just been able to release their own notes which obviously sped things up. I believe both sides are hoping to get the minutes out quite quickly this time but it might still take a while
Yeah, just two people from each of the groups with it being on zoom so hopefully it'll go well with not much discussion needed in terms of the minutes.
As sad as it is, ive got very little to do at work.....ive been going through the Uruguayan papers and searching for recent articles about Sartori, theres loads, hes all over their papers but ive been looking for anything that could lead to an investor, i.e shaking hands with Saputo on a new cheese making venture etc. couldnt find anything Sad I know..
When you think about it the 10th was never going to be announcement day as it was matchday. When it does finally happen it'll be interesting to see if it's ultra low key or the Quinny approach of having the reporters waiting for him at the airport. Although that particular stunt is probably not allowed at present, I'm sure you know what I mean though.
It better not be low key, it needs to have as much media coverage as a Royal wedding...I havent spent the best part of the last 2 years on here and RTG waiting to read a side column snippet that Sunderland have been taken over by another low key insurance salesman
I remember years ago a lad at work refering to "the mushrooms". Mushrooms ? Yeah scousers. Why do you call them that ? Big heads, live in shìt. Anyway, No takeover still i see. Lots of posts deleted/ cat litter tray emptied lol. Smug drinks nèwçæstlé brown ffs Hopefully something positive tomorrow
The silence around the takeover could be down to the professionalism of the potential new owner, we might actually be about to be owned by serious businessman / men who like things done correctly. That’s what I’m clinging onto anyway !
During the last takeover saga Donald told the fanzines, team manager, BBC, etc ... ... articles were written, names named, T-shirts printed, etc. I'd imagine a new buyer would quite like to avoid a similar panto.
Newcastle Brown mate, there's a few interesting stories about it. Talk to people in Burton on Trent and they'll tell you the recipe was stolen from one of their breweries after the first war. I used to drink it when I was a Geordie then stopped when John Hall started all the Geordie Nation shyte. But I started again when Bobby Robson blew up the brewery and production went to Tadcaster. The stuff I drink now is brewed in Holland!
