The last word that came direct from the club was that a sale should take place by May. Now of course I understand that things change, but they haven’t stuck their head above the parapet as they’ve been too busy finding the best way to keep their own pockets lined and the golden ticket invitations to the piss taking party are intact. They’ve been quite happy to let Storey tweet as part of their deflection tactics and haven’t made one statement to the contrary on a takeover, and even to the extent that people are getting conflicting stories straight from Directors. Two of them have declared that they were taking a backseat, claiming that they can no longer run the club, yet are now apparently in the midst of negotiating to stay on and get another round in. Make no bones about, if the mind set doesn’t change and the 3 amigos are sitting with different shares, **** all is going to change. They will need to bring in a PR expert, move on (Charlie you dick) sack the totally incompetent fat bastard Rodwell who has been an absolute disaster when dealing with fans, so you can see why they thought he would be a good appointment. for this to be a success, they should have a plan which should have been discussed alongside any share redistribution, no use doing that once the agreement is in place. If this was for the good of the club it would need to be part and parcel of those negotiations, not what is just best for them, but what is best for the club. Of course we all know it wouldn’t have been. A plan to bring in football people, a 5 year plan not a quick flip one, an immediate re engaging of supporters but not with any of the current lot as they are tarnished. The best thing they can do is appoint a footballing chairman, let him run everything as he wishes, then **** off back to their little rat holes until they have made enough money that sees them gone forever. tl:dr
There is no doubt in my mind that Bob gets to hear things. Bobs problem is and I have also said this all along, is that he is being used by them. He is serving a purpose and getting snippets out there to dampen expectations and trying to turn them into positives, it’s been his MO all along, blaming fans for takeover failures, telling us their hearts in the right place etc. Now if that is the case, it again emphasises exactly what these owners think of us, thick ****ing clueless Northerners. Why would someone supposedly so close to the action, post on a messageboard when those in high places that he is close to read said messageboard.
He’s also mentioned a takeover he’s not quite sure what to write but needs the attention so covers all bases. He posts in riddles so whether he gets some information or not he plays games so warrants all the stick he gets.

He used to PM me quite a bit, even back to the Jack Rodwell stuff and I don’t recall him getting anything right, plus you had to guess or question him again as to what he was insinuating. I can sort of understand if he is being careful on an open forum but I can assure you his PM’s were as equally ambiguous
Yep, he's said "what takeover?" loads of times, but he's also been telling people about a full takeover with FPP and intimated more towards just being Fuhrman. This doesn't mean he's full of ****, as we know lots of things do change in protracted discussions like these seem to have been, but anyone suggesting he's always said "just a change in shares" is wrong. He's also very much mentioned FPP/ Fuhrman, so if it's someone completely new it'll further show that what he initially thought was going on, wasn't actually the full story even if the end game of a share realignment is fairly accurate.

Yup. I'm old school and well remember pre Keegan years. Used to knock around Scotchy and Hedworth, and been to loads of red and white nights in the Hackle. My non football supporting mate in Jarra has noticed a difference and reckons we have a crack on but just friendly banter, while the Mags are really quite hostile and aggressive, and take it too far.
I’d go with this, we would sit in the Neon and mags who were reasonably sensible would turn into bitter and twisted ****ers once the football came on. on the flip side, I went to the Jarra cup match last season, was in the bogs at half time and said to this bloke, that I hated the stupid Union Jack behind the goal, “Jarra mags”, I said what the **** is that all about, it’s a Jarra match why does it have to be about them. He told me it was his, it was me who got all hostile and maybe went too far then though. I was hammered to be fair
Nice. The Jarra Mags were usually in the Prince over the years. Very irritating whenever we were on Sky but just ignored them. Pity we never won.
The first thing he said was nothing's happening. Then it's a share reshuffle, not a takeover, even though someone else becoming a majority shareholder means it's a takeover. Not being funny but did you see how sad he was over the Sanderson signing. "I knew about this on Wednesday. Ha ha ha." A grown man who gets up to date solid info that is 100% genuine yet behaves like a drunk teenager desperate for complete strangers on a message board to tell him how important he is. I've always seen him as a bit of a comedy figure but after reading his posts last night I now realise it's actually a tragedy.
