It's funny (coincidental?) that ages ago somebody hinted the takeover wouldn't be announced until just after the transfer window closes. And here we are with it closed and there are now rumours that the deal is agreed. Of course the tactic for waiting until now was to keep negotiations low, but we didn't do any of that....

Its like an Agatha Christie Christmas Special. An array of colourful characters, villains and more red herrings than you can shake your stick at.
