If the new owners aren't absolute billionaires then it'll have all been for nothing, pointless being in the prem unless you have money to **** things up, finishing 15th is boring as ****.
Unfortunately the only problem with that statement is that there was going to be an announcement this time last year but there was a last minute issue and we are still in league 1...... I dont like to look at my pint half empty though so fingers crossed
Spot on mate. Whatever happens here, new owners have got to have the resources and the willpower to get us into the PL and able to compete in it. I know it sounds daft, but I'd rather stay where we are than go back to spending every season trying to stay out of the bottom 3 and playing 11 men behind the ball every week to try to keep the goals against column low. I've had enough of that.
I don't know who the buyers are. However, 3 likely scenarios in my personal opinion - 1. Juan Satori increases his share holding in SAFC. New management team then introduced..CM may stay. (This does not include Brian Marwood). 2. Third party takeover. (I don't know who this is just thats its not Furhman or Storrey). 3. We get told early November the deal has collapsed or requires more time. Donald will then release a statement saying everyone tried there best to get the deal done but current financial implications and Covid stopped the sale he will remain in charge until the summer then reevaluate the situation. (If this happens I think we have been played). Fingers crossed for positive news
why nor, at graft, managed to get mesell banned from the takeover thread for calling out the nugget Vauxie.
So three likely scenarios despite you saying a page back it will be announced (provided no hitches) in November?
