Cheers mate. Suddenly seems to be a few emails / newspaper articles very keen to tell us its not FPP or GF. No real indication of who it is just its happening but its not them. Speculative but I think someone is trying too hard to put the word out its not them Being a suspicious old git I would still have my money on either GF or FPP being very much involved.
When things start getting leaked to the papers it could be close and about to be announced or it’s tactics from the buyer/seller A lot of owners of clubs usually say any takeover played out in the public is usually unlikely to happen, nearly every single attempted takeover of Newcastle has been played out in the papers/social media, and sports media and nothing has ever come of them
Hopefully the clubs dusting down the old magic carpet and just giving it a clean up before it’s put back on show again
Ive thought the same and mentioned the same thing weeks ago when being challenged on hearing nothing was/is happening. A lot of different info, being released by different people which I’m guessing are close to SD... I though/said it was to keep social media quiet and give SD some breathing space till the season started and the results were hopefully positive and we were near top of the league, and the talk of fake over would be forgotten/dulled down and SD could cling on for longer
Still makes no sense that the best way to keep people quiet is to make up a load of bullshit. If that was what he wanted he would have said unfortunately there are no bids on the table and let's all get on with it as a club.
Obviously I’m going to disagree nothings happening, I know from two sides that FPP want the club and are very much in talks/past the talking stage for it now, if another group has come and beat them to it I’ll be shocked, I also know the was a planned announcement just before the oxford game but the changed it last minute , I believe this time the have learned to wait till the fat lady sings
