They wouldn't, that's exactly my point in the post you've quoted! I'm saying people seem to be hinting at it just being sartori and Methven but that I think it's taking too long for it to just be them, because the time only makes sense if there's EFL tests and looking at the books from scratch, neither of which will be needed if it's just them
Agree with this also, IMO sartori seems to have to much on in his own country to be doing it on his own, if it is them two, sartori has to have someone one lined up with him to be abit more hands on
Is there not a fear that that man is Rodwell? I mean, owners don't have to be that hands on do they, they just hire people to do it for them. Look at Short for example.
I think who ever comes in Rodwell will still be involved, but you still need that figure head to make the main decisions, sartori will be too involved with his country to be like that
Unless he trusts Methven to do that part. Certainly on the business side he might do. Might think with Methven involved and eventually a chairman and Rodwell he isn't needed. Bloody hope not like!
Yes this is my fear - not even necesarilly with Methven. I just don't fully buy into the idea that Sartori is too busy to own us if he has the right people underneath him to run it for him. Whether Sartori has the capital or interest is a whole other topic, and I'm still hopeful that it's somebody else - hopefully FPP (or one of) but if not then somebody else who is hopefully not a charlatan!!!
If it is just Sartori and Methven then they would have to do one hell of a sales job on the fans to get them anywhere near onside. It’s not just about getting rid of Donald, it’s about needing a whole new sweeping of the floor and changes from top to bottom. I must admit the closer and closer it gets to the transfer deadline date I have the feeling that it might just be a reshuffle of the cards and an opportunity to save money.
