Just caught up on all of this. **** that ****. The guy's brand is a shambles, borders on a ****ing joke. The way he is conducting himself is a ****ing circus. I'd trust Judas Iscariot over this twat.
I've been told that again by someone with absolutely no need to impress me, he's a very successful man who's made a lot of money from the game. This is why I didn't comment on Storey or Gray as I doubt they're ever getting near the club. It's a great club and has vast potential, it needs serious people to take over ... ... not more undisciplined chancers making big claims.
Rubberface over the road, although hasn't named him, said it is MG and his consortium who are the ones who had a bid accepted and Donald is suddenly being an arse about it all wanting someone removed from the group (sounds as if he wants MG out). Apparently his 3 backers are from Dubai or at least are based over there. He's absolutely certain of all this as much as you were about the things you'd said about FPP. Doesn't come across as someone who would make stuff up either.
I don’t believe for one second that we signed ‘the wrong player’. We signed exactly the player we wanted to sign.
I know the lad and I know who he knocks about with. Definitely not a bullshitter or an attention seeker and is 100% passing on what he's heard from very good sources
Not according to little Tyson himself, it was a mix up of 3 different players. But I guess we will never know unless Reidy comes out with it
We didn't, this lad made that absolutely clear ... ... the right player, just not very good. This lawyer was actually on the case and told me at dinner last night, that's that for me.
Nothing wrong with Mr Grey, apart from his penalty taking. Unlike Donald, it would be great if he was more involved with the club
You say that - but apparently (according to him on talksport) he only missed one (as a pro) in his career! OK it was a big one but still!! The story about Donald shifting goalposts doesn't surprise me one bit but worries me an awful lot
Nunez did at first, then told a Honduran newspaper different after the litigation. But its too far fetched to have been true, the other guy was well over 6ft. I'm sure the legal action was about who held his registration and I think that is where the confusion lies. I'm not sure why Nunez later told the newspaper we were after some brick **** house and not him though
I've just had a look at the RTG thread, after the comments on here, and found it quite funny tbh. People, like Papa Smurf, who repeatedly called me a liar, fantasist, etc are now repeating what I said about FPP as well known facts. Fuhrman, who I was informed time after time had pulled out, is obviously still there after all this time. His silence is being portrayed as a lack of interest whereas the same silence from Gray is somehow 'significant' ... ... I've no idea how that works tbh.
Personally, still think it's Fuhrman that gets first dibs. I believe that it was pretty much a done deal and us getting chucked 10 mil, no matter how it was dscribed, was pretty much a down payment. I'm even more convinced of that when I've read Grumpy ower the road mentioning penalty clauses if it's paid back early. No amounts said like, but at a guess still going to add a few million to the price if FPP insist they want paying back before any sale goes through, which from all accounts they can.
Preseason game at Scarborough? Looked like a kid running about chasing adults who wouldn't give him the ball. I remember what seemed to be a chest height ball come over to him around the centre circle, he jumped to head it but it was a little too high. His Wikipedia page says hes 5 foot 5. Someone must have been messing about with it adding a foot to his actual height.
I'll be honest, I've not heard anything about Fuhrmann or FPP in general being near the head of the queue this time. That's not to say they aren't interested, but I'm assuming they have their valuation and unless Donald drops it, they won't be meeting his. Looks like it'll go elsewhere unless the existing bids fall away. If the sale does go elsewhere it'll be interesting to see if they keep the loan in place. Still wouldn't be surprised to see them stay involved and get further involved further down the line
