I don't think the squad is the problem, the formation and team selection set us up for failure yesterday. I've never been a fan of 5 at the back (or 3 at the back depending on how you look at it). I feel like we play in that formation because we don't have a decent right back, and Hume can't defend. Hume should be on the wing for me.

I agree in the most part that this squad should get us up Magnus but what I can’t fathom out is we don’t seem to have sorted the keeper position out when we’ve had plenty time to. Burge looked awful yesterday and if Matthews is behind him why was he brought in? Also we never seem to address the lack of pace up front. For a club of our stature in this league, these positions should be of paramount importance, as is CM. A good recruitment in those areas would pretty much guarantee the top two finish we need
Established name? I'd love someone with a footballing background who has operated at a good level. Think these are the positions we could exploit if they dont contribute to the salary cap.
Defensively we should be fine. Its lack of pace and creativity we have problems with and I'm not sure parky can change that.
Agree. Bristol Rovers bought a pacy and strong striker the day before the game and was their best player. Non of our defenders could lead with him. Is so difficult to find one? Hanland was cheap
