If I was a new owner I wouldn't be changing nowt until xmas at the earliest, barring a catastrophe obviously.
You would think new owners would look at what the likes of Kevin Keegan did for the demographic of north east football support. Get the appointment right and getting the ball rolling will result in a tidal wave of fans getting behind the club. You can appoint someone with charisma, a bit of a reputation in football, held in high regard or have Phil Parkinson. That was the beginning of the end for Donald.
I meant to leave the kids out all together - I would've had both of them on the bench in place of Leadbitter and either Wyke or Graham. Personally I agree with you, I would've had Scowen ahead of Dobson - I think he's had the better pre-season out of the 2 of them. I also would've had Xhemajli ahead of Flanagan.
It's everyone in the club and the question of contracts ... ... the exact opposite of what Ashley did.
My thoughts exactly mate. Ponderous slow team. He has four or five on the bench that should be on the pitch. Scowen was creating for Grigg pre season and is benched?? Dobson is a cart horse.
I’d assume that the vast majority of the non playing staff would be salaries meaning that within reason if they’re not up to their job then they could be sacked, but that would take a long time. Are you saying that the alleged new owners are looking at a whole ‘new brush sweeps clean’ type of thing?
