There is 1 X RTG poster has moved over, and I doubt he can go the distance on here. I don't intend to name him, I think it will become obvious in time.
I’m gonna say this, I’ve been on here for 8 years as a poster and mod as was my father as was nads and a few others, it’s not an easy job, however, there have been many posters come and go, mags last no time at all apart from somb, wums don’t last long either, I would suspect vauxie won’t have seen the day out, the mods won’t allow dilliberate disruption of the forum, they just ban the IP, so give them a chance to sift through the ****, I know they both have lives outside here and do it voluntarily, it’s good to see this place full of likeminded posters
Maybe, and this is a hopeful maybe, maybe they have dried up because the only thing left is to announce it.
I would suggest that a line is drawn and from now on no one posts anything in this thread unless it something completely new with respect to the takeover. By all means post on other threads, let's talk about football again in match threads etc. But simply starve the WUM's out of this thread. But it will never happen.
I have to say. I have had a very busy week and just sitting down to a pint. Been mental really away from work. Back and forward with mods on the RTG. Threads going daft. Seems silly. Same people have caused havoc and stopped lots of genuine folk sharing stuff and even helping each other out! If that's gone, then it's game over. The best thing about a community is supporting each other. We have all had bumps in the road and should be able to offer words without the need of ban, senseless information etc. Anyway. Enjoy and hope the lads get 3 points tomorrow.

I know Vauxie gets on all of your tits etc but what I can’t understand is how you all take him so serious and go ape **** about it all. I must be hardened to blokes like him working on the sites as there is loads of loops like him.

Its got nothing to do with being hardened to him. Its the constant fishing and winding people up. Its the same 'in jokes' and belittling people all the time. Its the little bits of information about the club that are patently untrue, and the perpetuation of the 'joke' that grinds on people's nerves. Its the thinly veiled threats like 'he's ****ing hard ya knaars' that are spouted which have become incredibly tedious. All of these things have made it utterly pointless to go on that forum. The reasons I signed up on RTG back in 2005 were to find out football news, have a bit of a laugh, meet up with fans at away matches etc. Now none of those things can happen because everything is derailed by your mates. What I don't get, and perhaps you have some insight into this, is how (or by whom) you and your cronies are protected by on there. I said Bob was cretinous and copped a ban. You posted that I was pathetic and needed to grow a pair and nothing happened. I've not been back on since. You could say its pathetic of me etc, but it's purely that at this stage of my life I really can't be arsed with the cronyism and ****e banter that you think is hilarious. Hence why I came to this board. Rant over. I'm filled with anonymosity right now.
Not even that. Senior staff. My cards marked. Amazed given what I have gave that board. I have saved people Wembley experience, sorted away tickets, sorted charity tips and others. Seems once you get marked it just snowballed. I have been professional but just don't accept it. Glad it's being left in my decision and that's fair but I think I know which way I am going to go.
Mate. I am hardened as it goes and will have a roll about with anyone. Reputation means **** all if you are spoiling threads and trolling. That's the issue. We have had crack for a while and we have been civil, but I am sorry. That lad has ruined everything he touches online. We all have people who respect us. In real life. I have plenty. But I like to think I do exactly the same online. That's exactly the point.
I can't say I see any agenda, personally. Its an open forum so anyone can post their opinion. Sometimes opinions clash. Exactly, the more views you have, the more lively debate is. Even if most people think certain of those views are bollocks. Shutting people down before they get started doesn't seem to me to make for a good forum experience.
So apart from the bickering? There wasn't any announcement of any sorts today... So I'm assuming we are no further forward or backward?
