That doesn't quantify anything, just the usual Doris Stokes routine ...

... various people have said various things so how can it be what we all think?

From the sounds of that message, and from when he used to post and just said things like "what takeover?" when people discussed it, I can only assume he's hinting at something minor, like just sartori buying Donald's stake. Strange if you've had messages suggesting he thinks there's more than that going on mind, God knows!

Aye, good point. He might be hinting at a much more minor group taking over or something. Mind as I've said repeatedly, there's a difference between passing on info with bits amended or left out to protect a source (as I've done) and putting something so vague that you need a five hour meeting to try and work out roughly what the **** he thinks is happening! At that point you're very much in the realms of "might as well have said nowt". It just covers almost all bases and adds nothing.

I’m staunch black and white, he wouldn’t have expected me to. If he’d have worn his Sunderland shirt to my funeral, it wouldn’t bother me in the slightest. Friendship is more important than football.

It can only be a positive move to keep Dave on board, a proper mlf and a font of knowledge in all things football....

Fair enough, just seems to be getting into "ah don't eat bacon cos its red" territory and seems a bit petty. Like I say , can completely understand not wanting to wear a Sunderland strip, but just having the colours red and white on wouldn't have been too awful surely? Guess we just think differently about it. I've got a work shirt which is like thin black and white lines, wouldn't think about not wearing it because it's the colours of my clubs rivals

I'm sure GOM posted a few days ago that as it was such a while since Sartori joined the first time around, the EFL would still want to see an updated business plan.

I understand what you’re saying, possibly it’s a bit sad on my part, but I haven’t got a single thing red in my wardrobe <laugh>
As I said before, I dislike your football club immensely, but it doesn’t affect my friendship with decent folk.
