I have seen the photos of rodwell with his Mrs and Storey sitting on his own with a pint of Guinness. It’s convenient they couldn’t get a photo of them that bar is really open plan. Also why the hell would you meet him in public to discuss a multi million pound business deal that everyone in the town wants to know about and everyone knows you!

He didn't directly say that though, he said we might have new owners by the end of August or before the beginning of the new season, so the takeover could still be a fortnight away yet.

The daily mail article however is wrong. MSD have lent no money to Sunderland or Madrox. A separate company was set up for that by the three Americans using their initials (FPP). That company still technically exists
